Wednesday Programs Resume

 

Get ready for the fall season of Wednesday activities.  Classes for adults and children resume next Wednesday, September 4.  Sign up for the family meal on your attendance card this Sunday, Sept. 1. (The meal will be: Roast beef, potatoes/gravy, green beans & dessert) Adults, stop by the Ministry Center to sign up for one of the electives being offered.

SERMON SERIES

Month of August

Jim continues his series “Walk Worthy” on Sunday morning.  Be challenged in your walk as your family returns to work, college and school.  Our walk is evident to all those around us.  Read I & II Thessalonians this month along with our series.

 

SUNDAY  EVENING Summer wrap up   At the 5:30 evening service the church family will review all the great programs and ministries accomplished this summer.  Please come and celebrate with our church family.  Pies, coffee and fellowship will follow the service.

SUNDAY MORNING SERMON SERIES

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

August 11, 5: 30 pm service

Our guest speaker for the 5: 30 service this Sunday, August 11, is Judah Tangshing.  Judah is a missionary to his home country of Myanmar.  He returned to serve there after attending Florida Christian College (Johnson University Florida).  Be prepared to be blessed by his message!

“FEET ON THE GROUND”

 

Help send our soldiers a “slice of home.”  Visit the “Feet on the Ground” display in the foyer and pick up a list of items that our servicemen and women have requested.  We will be packing the boxes for our next shipment on August 30, so drop your donations off any time this month.  While you’re at the display, take time to read the thank-you notes from the soldiers.
