I will be preaching a sermon series entitled “There's no Place Like Home”. This series will explore ways in which the
home can be enriched through better communication and marriages and families
empowered by a deeper love and devotion towards one another. Let's restore our community one family at a

Christmas Poinsettias
Orders for the Christmas poinsettias will be
accepted using the special order envelopes located at Home Base. Cost is $5 per poinsettia. Checks should be made payable to First Christian
Church, and put “poinsettia” in the memo section of the check. Place completed envelope, with money, in the
drop box at Home Base. The last day to order poinsettias is

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers)
All mothers of preschoolers (birth to Kindergarten) are
invited to our MOPS meeting this Thursday, Dec. 11, 9:30 - 11:30 am, at
the church. There is no charge for the
meetings. MOPS meets here at the church
the 2nd Thursday of each month. Contact

Young at Heart Christmas Night Out
All Young at Heart
adults (55+) are invited to a night out for dinner at The Columbia Restaurant
in Celebration to celebrate the Christmas season together on Thursday, Dec.
11. Please meet at the church at
4:00 pm. We will ride the church bus to Celebration
for dinner and look at Christmas lights in that area. Please sign up at the Ministry Center for
this great evening and indicate if you plan to ride the church bus.
Night of Noel
The annual
Christmas concert, Night of Noel, will be spectacular! Featuring the combined voices of both our
Florida and Tennessee choirs, along with instrumental and vocal solos, it is a
wonderful addition to your Christmas festivities. Join us this Friday, Dec. 12, at 7:00
pm, in the Chapman Center at Johnson University FL. Tickets are $15/each or two for $25 and are
available online at www.johnsonu.edu/florida, or call 407-569-1314 for more
information.

Breakfast is this Saturday, Dec. 13, 8:00 am here at the church. Come and enjoy a great breakfast and an
opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value the role of
being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted culture. Please

Our Singles Ministry is having their annual
Christmas dinner at Doreen Weiss’ home this Saturday, Dec. 13, at
6:30 pm. Please bring your favorite dish
to share, and a “white elephant” gift.

a friend and a mug to exchange. Also
ladies A-M, bring a veggie or finger food, ladies N-Z, bring fruit or dessert.
ROCK Community - Dec. 14 - 5:00 pm
This Sunday, Dec. 14, we will not have ROCK at the
church building! During our regular
youth group times (5:00-7:00 pm) we will have youth group at the Lakefront in
Downtown Kissimmee (201 Lakeview Drive).
This is a way for us to be more visible in the community. Two options for drop-off: two buses will
leave the church at 5:00 pm. But not
everyone will fit, so we are asking some students to meet at the Lakefront at
the Heron Pavilion. We will be out there
so you can’t miss us. Contact Christ
with any questions.
ROCK Christmas Party - Dec. 17
To close out our Small Groups we will have our Christmas
Party Wednesday night, Dec. 17th. There
will be dinner AND a white elephant gift exchange! We are asking all students to bring a gift of
no more than $5. It can be goofy, crazy,
weird, etc! BE CREATIVE! The party will go from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Sign up today!

Please help Celebrate Recovery gift the homeless for
