Seek the City - Takin’ it to the Streets
This Sunday, July 30 we have a chance to take
the Gospel to our neighborhood, as we “Seek the City.” Make plans to
join us for the opportunity to canvas our neighborhood and share with them a
little about ourselves and Christ. Plan to meet in the Fellowship
Hall at 5PM, make preparations, go out for about an hour, then come back and
share stories of our experiences. Please be in prayer for this
event and the lives that we can touch as we Seek our City!
School Supply Drive
We have the privilege of partnering with Neptune
Middle School to help students in need and we need your help. We
will be doing a backpack drive like we did last year but we also need supplies
to fill these backpacks. If you are able, here are some of the items
we need donated: 3” ring Binder, loose leaf paper, pens, pencils, highlighters,
binder pencil pouch, ream of white copy paper, dry erase markers, colored
markers, and boxes of tissues, backpacks. Please bring the items back ASAP and place them in the school bus box in the lobby.
Volunteers Needed for Outreach Ministry
We are excited to announce that we are adding
some changes to the Outreach ministry and need your help! On August 13th, we
are moving the service to the new Ministry Center and changing to a morning
service at 8:30am. We need people who can cook and serve once a month. If you
want to be a part of serving with us, please contact Cindy Coffman at
coffkidd@gmail.com or call Kellie in the church office.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Registration
Registration is now open for our Fall 2017
Basketball and Cheerleading season of Upward. We are excited to be
using our new Ministry Center to house the games. The deadline to
register is August 6. The cost is $65 per student for either basketball
or cheerleading. Please visit our website and click on the
Upward tab to register. If you have any questions, please see Lance
Spencer.
Volunteer for Upward!
We are in need of volunteers for this season of
Upward. If you are interested, you can visit our website for a list
of all positions we need and sign up there as well. Or
we have a table in the lobby on Sundays with information about the entire
season. We really hope that you will be part of this exciting season
in one way or another.
AMPED Retreat - Student Ministry
On Friday and Saturday, August 4th and 5th, we
are having our AMPED Retreat for Rock Student Ministry. This event is an
overnight event for middle and high school students. It is also the first
event that any incoming 6th grader can attend with our ministry. The cost of
this event is $10. During the event, students will worship in song, study God's
word, fellowship and serve. We will meet at 7pm at the church and pick up
will be at 5pm at Johnson University. Can't wait to see you there! Please call

Christian Homeschoolers is excited to announce that fall registration is now

Men’s Bible Study
Gentleman, beginning on September
9th we will begin a new series at our men's fellowship breakfast entitled
Play The Man. This was originally a call from Joab, David's general to the
nation of Israel for men to rise up and be of good courage and be strong for
the people and for the cities of God. In this series we will unveil Seven
Virtues of manhood. If you get an opportunity purchase the book entitled Play
The Man by Mark Batterson and read along with us as we discover what it truly
means to become the man God created all of us to be.
Prayer Walk
On Wednesday, August 9 at 7PM the entire church
family is invited out for a prayer walk. We will be lifting up our
different ministries and programs that will begin in the fall. We hope that you
will join us for this special time to petition God for His many blessings and
thank Him for all that He will and is accomplishing through this congregation.
Dedication Ceremony for Ministry Center
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, August 27
at 6PM as we will celebrate the official grand opening of our beautiful
Ministry Center. Vision 20/20 was a dream 3 years
ago. This date will mark the celebration of many prayers and hard
work. Join us for the Ministry Center dedication ceremony as we will
be serving hotdogs, chips and drinks and properly asking God to be part of
everything that happens in and through the building.
Kid’s Choir
Mark your calendar for Kids Choir! Kids Choir
will resume on August 16 from 6:20-7:00PM. We will be working on a variety of
modern kid’s choir songs with a twist. Come join us each Wednesday as we work
on this special worship presentation.
Ministry Fair
On Sunday, August 20, before, in between and
after the services we will be having a Ministry Fair in our
lobby. This will be a time to learn more about each ministry that
KCC has to offer. Please make plans to attend and get plugged into a
new ministry that needs your help!

Tops for Education to help our school purchase items that are needed—each one
collected is worth 10 cents! Please save and bring these to church to put
in our collection box, we appreciate your help!

have a Connections orientation class for anyone who is ready or is considering
becoming a part of this great church family. The next class will be
held August 2 at 6:30 pm upstairs in Jim’s Office. Please do

Celebrate Recovery
You're invited to come share God's healing power
each Friday night at 6:30. You will find you are welcomed by
others who come each week to work through their own hurts, habits and hang-ups.
And we are happy to say that we now have a place for
children, ages 3 years through 5th grade. So what's
holding you back? Come and give it a try.

Tech Volunteers Needed
The tech team is in need of folks to run
lighting and video cameras during our morning services. These require
minimal skill but have a big impact on our church! The many volunteers
behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love. You can do this!

real changes? TOPS can help you reach your weight-loss goals by providing you
with the tools, information, support, and accountability you need to be
successful. T.O.P.S. focuses on making small, steady lifestyle changes that provide
lasting weight loss and better health. Members learn to eat better, move more,
and stay motivated through engaged educational programs that our experts
prepare and that our volunteers present at weekly meetings. Our members focus
on improvement not perfection. Together we recognize and celebrate our member’s
victories, big & small. Weigh-in starts at 5:30 PM to 5:55
PM, program from 6:00 PM to 6:40 PM. For more information on how

dolores, hábitos y complejos. La Iglesia Kissimmee Christian Church se

Niños desde 5to grado y Lugar de Mini Celebración para las

Celebrando la Recuperación es un ministerio
donde aplicas los 8 principios bíblicos basados en las beatitudes, permitiendo
que el Señor trabaje en nosotros proveyendo Su poder de sanidad. Este studio
ayudará a las personas a cambiar espiritualmente trabajando con principios
bíblicos. Si estás interesado en trabajar en tus heridas, hábitos y complejos,
favor de firmar en la mesa de conección para unirte a este nuevo grupo de
studio. Las clases comenzarán el domingo 5 de Febrero. Libros 1 al 4.

¿No Te Pierdas Las Bendiciones De Servir
A veces, en nuestro
fervor bíblico para enfatizar que la salvación no es por obras, no
somos capaces de apreciar plenamente que hemos sido salvados para hacer
buenas obras (Efesios 2:10). De hecho, Dios te ha colocado en tu
iglesia con el fin de que tú puedas ser edificado, de modo que
puedas trabajar y servirle. Si nos permitimos seguir siendo
sedentarios esto significa que estamos descuidando el mismo propósito de Dios
para nuestra salvación y de otros. Al servir, sigues y te comportas como Jesús

Mujeres en Quietud
Mujeres en Quietud invita a
mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de
sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender
quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en
Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras
circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son
constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:
· Oraremos las unas por las otras
· Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios
· Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo
· Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con
la verdad de la Palabra de Dios
· Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con
nuestro Señor
· Aprenderemos
a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración
· Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su
gracia y quietud

¿Están listos para dejar de hacer dieta y
comenzar a hacer verdaderos cambios? T.O.P.S. le puede ayudar a lograr sus
objetivos de pérdida de peso proveyéndole las herramientas, información y apoyo
necesitado para alcanzar éxito. T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo
de vida pequeños y constantes, étos proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso
duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a
través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que
nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no
buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y
celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. De 5:30 pm a
5:55 pm comenzaremos a pesarnos en la balanza y el programa dura de 6:00 pm a
