Rock the Universe
ROCK Student Ministries is taking its high
school students to Universal Studios on September 8th and 9th for Rock the
Universe. RTU is a two-day event where thousands of Christians will come
together to enjoy fellowship, performances from some of the hottest names in
Christian music and to ride the rides. The cost of the tickets for one night is
$70 and for two nights is $110 and is due on Wednesday, September 6th. For more

Women’s Ministry Lemonade Mixer
Come and
spend time on Tuesday, September 12 fellowshipping with other women and
catching the vision of what the Women’s Ministry will be up to this year! There will be a lot of different kinds of
cobblers and lemonades to try. It is
free of charge and will be held in the cafe at the church. If you have any questions please direct them
to Diane Lytle, our Women’s Ministry Coordinator.
The Word Alive - Women’s
Ministry Event
Ladies of all ages, we are excited to present this
opportunity for the women of our church to attend this life-giving weekend on
October 27 & 28. The Word Alive with
Lysa Terkeurst is an immersive, hands-on journey that will leave you thirsting
to read and study truth by experiencing God's Word rather than simply checking
it off your to-do list each morning. The Word is alive and active, and once it
awakens in you, it changes everything. So come, bring a close friend, and
prepare to be changed by God's Word forever. There will be transportation
provided on both days. Deadline to

Men’s Bible Study
Gentleman, beginning on September
9th we will begin a new series at our men's fellowship breakfast entitled
Play The Man. This was originally a call from Joab, David's general to the
nation of Israel for men to rise up and be of good courage and be strong for
the people and for the cities of God. In this series we will unveil Seven
Virtues of manhood. If you get an opportunity purchase the book entitled Play
The Man by Mark Batterson and read along with us as we discover what it truly
means to become the man God created all of us to be.
Young At Heart Kickoff
The YOUNG AT HEART wish
a “Happy Fall” to one and all! Help us celebrate GOD’s goodness in
our lives with an: OCTOBERFEST IN SEPTEMBER!

It’s going to be a carry-in luncheon with lots and lots of delicious food,
laughs and surprises! A distinguished member of our congregation
will bring the devotion. So easy to participate: there are

DivorceCare
The Fall cycle of DivorceCare will begin Sep 6th and end
Dec 6th and will be meeting on Wednesdays, 6:30 pm - 8 pm at Poinciana
Christian Church, 3181 Pleasant Hill Rd. Kissimmee, FL 34746. If you are interested in attending, please

Town Hall Meeting
Community
Leaders, Pastors, Law Enforcement and concerned citizens of Kissimmee are
encouraged to attend this Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Monday, September 18
at 7PM here at the church. We will be
discussing a plan to seriously address ways to reduce drug activity and crime
in our community. Let’s ban together and
make Kissimmee safe again!
W.I.N.G.S. (Widows Ministry) Lunch &
Movie
Inviting
all widows and single women over 55 to a luncheon and movie at KCC in the
Chapel Saturday, September 30th. Bring a salad or sandwiches to share. The
event starts at noon. We will enjoy food and fellowship and then watch the
movie "The Case for Christ"-Lee Strobel's true story of convincing
himself of the truth of the gospel. Come and enjoy this movie in the comfort of
air-conditioning! Sign up at the connect counter.
Kissimmee Police Prayer Meeting
As we continue to lift the Kissimmee Police Department up
to the Father, we invite the church family to a special prayer meeting Sunday,
Sept. 17 at 6:30PM in the auditorium immediately following the Sunday evening
service. This will mark the one-month
anniversary of the deaths of Officer Matthew Baxter and Sergeant Sam Howard.
Circle of Faith
Circle of

Celebrate Recovery
You're invited to come share God's healing
power each Friday night at 6:30. You will find you are welcomed
by others who come each week to work through their own hurts, habits and
hang-ups. And we are happy to say that we now have a place for children, ages 3
years through 5th grade. So what's holding you back? Come and
give it a try.

The tech team is in need of folks to run
lighting and video cameras during our morning services. These require
minimal skill but have a big impact on our church! The many volunteers
behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love. You can do this!

dolores, hábitos y complejos. La Iglesia Kissimmee Christian Church se
alegra de anunciar el inicio de Lugar de Celebración para
Niños desde 5to grado y Lugar de Mini Celebración para las
edades de 3 y 4 añitos. El Lugar de Ce-lebración ayuda e inspira a

Celebrando la Recuperación es un ministerio
donde aplicas los 8 principios bíblicos basados en las beatitudes, permitiendo
que el Señor trabaje en nosotros proveyendo Su poder de sanidad. Este studio
ayudará a las personas a cambiar espiritualmente trabajando con principios
bíblicos. Si estás interesado en trabajar en tus heridas, hábitos y complejos,

studio. Las clases comenzarán el domingo 5 de Febrero. Libros 1 al 4.

A veces, en nuestro
fervor bíblico para enfatizar que la salvación no es por obras, no
somos capaces de apreciar plenamente que hemos sido salvados para hacer
buenas obras (Efesios 2:10). De hecho, Dios te ha colocado en tu

Mujeres en Quietud
Mujeres en Quietud invita a
mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de
sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender
quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en
Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras
circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son
constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:
· Oraremos las unas por las otras
· Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios
· Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo
· Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con
la verdad de la Palabra de Dios
· Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con
nuestro Señor
· Aprenderemos
a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración
· Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su
gracia y quietud

necesitado para alcanzar éxito. T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo
de vida pequeños y constantes, étos proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso
duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a
través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que
nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no
buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y
celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. De 5:30 pm a
5:55 pm comenzaremos a pesarnos en la balanza y el programa dura de 6:00 pm a
