“Release
and Restore” women’s worship service will be held on Oct. 13th at 7:00 pm. Hear
testimonies, worship with song, and pray together. This is a time to lay your
burdens down and be restored by God's truth!
M.O.P.S.
(Mothers of Preschoolers)
All
mothers of preschoolers (birth to Kindergarten) are invited to our MOPS meeting
on Thursday, Oct. 8, 9:30 - 11:30 am, at the church. Childcare and food are provided. MOPS International yearly membership is
$24.95. MOPS meets at the church the 2nd Thursday of each month. Contact

Singles Pitch-in Supper
Our Singles Ministry is having a pitch-in dinner & game
night at Jim & Jeanette Books’ home on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 6:00

Men’s Breakfast
Our next Men’s Breakfast will
be Saturday, Oct. 10, 8:00 am here
at the church. Come and enjoy a great
breakfast and an opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value
the role of being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted

ROUNDUP 2015
Saddle up for a celebration! Johnson
University Florida is hosting ROUNDUP 2015 on Saturday, Oct. 10.
This is a time to reflect on God’s provision as faculty, staff, students, and
supporters work together to further the message of Christ. Featured
speakers include: Dr. Michael Chambers, Tommy Smith, and Dr. David
Eubanks. Join us for a western, barbecue lunch, music, testimonies, and
more. Doors open at 8:30 am, with festivities beginning at 9

Elementary Lock-in Grades
1-5

We are going to be “Shipwrecked in our Faith to God” as we
stand up to the storms, prevail the pirates, and survive the shipwreck. Our
focus will be on how we can face the storms of life and keep our relationship
with Jesus strong. Registration is due by Wednesday, Oct. 7. Cost
is $5. Registration forms are also located by the Kids’ Registration Desk or you can register online
through the church’s website. We are also looking for HS/adult volunteers

Connecting with Christ
Connecting
to membership at First Christian begins with our newest course: Connecting
with Christ. The course will be offered
each Sunday beginning Oct.
18th at 9:30 am-10:40 am, 2nd floor, room 210. A one-time attendance is all

Estate
Planning Seminar
Financial Planning Ministry will hold an estate planning seminar on
Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 pm. If you plan on attend the seminar please sign up at the Connect Counter.
Young at Heart
All Young at Heart (ages 55 & up) are invited to a
Shuffleboard outing at Good Samaritan Village on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. Transportation
will be provided. We will leave the church at 10:00 am. Please sign up at
the Ministry Center if you plan on attending.
WINGS
WINGS Ministry (for Widows) invites you to a boat
ride with Dolfun Tours on Saturday, Oct.
24. We will be aboard a 35-foot covered boat in Melbourne and trek along
the Indian River. We will traverse the river's diverse estuary in a two-hour
boat ride seeing birds, fish, turtles, manatees, and dolphins. We will leave
FCCK by bus at 10:00 am. We will eat lunch in Melbourne before boarding
the boat at 1:00 P.M. Plan to arrive back at FCCK by 4:30.
Please signup to go no later than Sunday, Oct. 18th. The
cost of the boat ride is $28.00.
Fall Festival
Join us for food, music,
games, candy, prizes, chili cook off & fun for all ages! This year’s event will take place at church
on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 5:30 pm – 7:30
PM. Performing will be Zack Shelton & 64 to Grayson. Stop by the Fall
Festival/Light Night display to volunteer. Candy donations welcome too. Grab a
postcard and bring a friend!
Light Night
Light Night will take place on Friday, Oct. 30, 6:00-8:30 pm at
Chick-fil-A, located at South Chase (on Orange Blossom Tr.). This is a great
opportunity to reach the community. Kids are invited to wear their “family
friendly” costumes, enjoy games, candy prizes and eat more chicken. Stop by the Fall Festival/Light Night display
to volunteer. Let’s reach the city!
Super
Start
Super
Start is an overnight conference, put on by CIY, specifically designed for
pre-teens (4th & 5th graders). It will be held Nov. 6 & 7. Cost for the conference is $65, which
includes EVERYTHING! (even meals). Pray about this opportunity for your
preteen and mark your calendar. Registration forms are by the Kids’

First Christian is happy to
announce the launching of Connect
Ministry. Connect Ministry helps
connect the dots for our guests at First Christian in much the same way as the
children's game. Every played connect the dots? Children are
thrilled to follow the numbers - connecting the dots - to see what picture
emerges. In similar fashion, Connect
Ministry offers a service that assists guests and members
alike "connect" to people and resources that will help them to
get a clearer picture of church life here at First Christian Church Kissimmee. If

¡Prepárese para la celebración! La
Universidad de Johnson Florida está organizando “ROUNDUP 2015” el sábado, 10
de octubre. Sera un tiempo de reflexión en la provisión de Dios como
facultad, personal, estudiantes, y los partidarios que trabajan juntos para
promover el mensaje de Cristo. Entre los destacados ponentes se encuentran: Dr.

"Naufragados en Nuestra Fe”
Vamos a ser “Naufragados en nuestra
Fe” en Dios mientras nos mantenemos de pies en las tormentas, prevalecemos a

podemos enfrentar las tormentas de la vida y mantener nuestra relación con

Dios
Si desea convertirse en un miembro

Ministerio Alas
(Para Viudas)
El ministerio Alas (para
viudas) le invita a un paseo de barco con Dolfun Tours el sábado, 24 de
octubre. Estaremos a bordo de un barco cubierto de trente cinco pies en
Melbourne y viajaremos a orillas del Río Indio. Cruzaremos el río en un
paseo en barco de dos horas viendo aves, peces, tortugas, manatíes y delfines.
Partiremos la iglesia en autobús a las 10:00 am. Almorzaremos en Melbourne
antes de alojar el barco a las 1:00 pm. Regresamos a las 4:30 pm. Por
favor inscribirse para ir no más tarde que el domingo, 18 de octubre. El
costo del paseo de barco es $28.00.
Festival de Otoño
¡Acompáñenos para el Festival de
Otoño y disfrute de comida, música, juegos, dulces, premios y diversión para
todas las edades! ¡También abra un concurso del mejor cocinero del famoso Chili

Noche de Luz ocurrirá el viernes, 30 de
octubre, 6:00 pm-8:30 p.m. en Chick-fil-A, localizado en South Chase (en la Orange Blossom
Tr.). Esta es una gran oportunidad para alcanzar
a la comunidad. Los niños están invitados a llevar sus disfraces de “ambiente
familiar”, disfrutaran de juegos, premios y pueden comer más pollo. Para sirve como
voluntario visite nuestra mesa de exhibición en el vestíbulo de la iglesia. ¡Vamos a alcanzar la ciudad!
Súper Inicio” el 6 y 7 de Noviembre
“Súper Inicio” es una conferencia, de CIY,
diseñado específicamente para los pre-adolescentes (4to y 5to grado). ¡El coste para la conferencia es $65, que incluye

Ministerio “Conectarse”
La Primera Iglesia Cristiana de
Kissimmee se complace en anunciar el lanzamiento del ministerio “Conectarse”. El
ministerio ayudará a nuestros visitantes a conectar los puntos de la iglesia en
la misma forma que el juego de niños. Los niños están encantados de seguir los
números y conectar los puntos para ver qué imagen surge. De
manera similar, el ministerio Conectarse ofrece un servicio que asiste a los visitantes de la
iglesia y miembros por igual a conectarse a las personas y recursos
que les ayudarán a obtener un imagen más clara de la vida aquí en la Primera
