Blood Drive

First Christian Church of Kissimmee will be hosting a blood drive on Sunday, July 12 at 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The Big Red Bus will be located in the church parking lot. Donors will receive a free OneBlood Trevis tumbler and a free wellness checkup including blood pressure and cholesterol screening. Stroke Survivor Support Group

The stroke survivor support group meetings are designed to offer support to stroke survivors and family caregivers. The support group meets every first Sunday of the month. The next meeting will be held at the church on July 5^th at 4:00 pm.

All Church Family Picnic

 Everyone is invited to our “All Church Picnic” at Johnson University Florida in the Student Union Building, Wednesday, July 8, 5:30 pm. The pool will be available along with the sand-volleyball court. So bring your lawn chairs and towels and join us for a great time of fun and fellowship. Sandwiches, chips & drinks will be provided by Chick-fil-A! Please bring a dessert to share. Sign up if you plan to attend. Donations will be accepted.

VBS Workdays

Cosmic City is coming very soon to FCCKissimmee! In order to be prepared for this summer's spectacular VBS program we need to have another workday. The day and time will be Friday, July 10th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Come on out to the church and help. We will be meeting during the week of July 13-17 as well.  Be on the lookout for information about that soon!

Men’s Breakfast

Our next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday, July 11, 8:00 am at the church.  Come and enjoy a great breakfast and an opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value the role of being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted culture.  Please sign up at the Ministry Center.

Connect Singles Ministry

Jim & Jeanette Book will be hosting the Connects Singles Ministry monthly gathering at their home on Saturday, July 11, at 6:00 pm. It’s a pitch-in supper so please bring your favorite dish to share. Sign up at the Ministry Center if you plan on attending. 

VBS Donation Slips

Donation Slips are now available at the VBS table. We will need all donations by Sunday, July 12th. We appreciate all your help in making this a very successful VBS. 

Summer Camp at Lake Aurora

Each summer we send our middle and elementary school students to camp at Lake Aurora. It is an amazing week of worship, outdoor activities, and tons of fun! You can sign up at lakeaurora.org. See Bob Mehlenbacher or Jennifer Holderby with questions. Middle school students (July 5-10), Grades 2, 3 & 4 (July 12-14), Grades 3, 4 & 5 (July 12-16).

Youth in Ministry

All 10^th-12^th Graders! Join us July 18 – 25 in TENNESSEE at Milligan College for the annual Student Leadership Conference. It teaches students to be leaders in their churches NOW! Apply at youthinministry.org. Cost is $150 for first timers and $400 for second timers. A church bus will take all the students.

TAKIN’ IT TO THE STREETS!!

As we get closer to Vacation Bible School we want to encourage all of our members to adopt your street in your neighborhood and make sure all of your neighbors with VBS age children get an invitation card. This will afford each of us an opportunity to personally invite our friends and neighbors to this great outreach event. Invitation cards are located on church counters in the foyer.

VBS July 20-24

Get ready to blast off to Cosmic City! It’s a fun week of music, cosmic crafts, galactic games, Bible, science and much more. Kids will learn about a great big God that is out of this world! $10 per kid for the whole week! Register at fcckissimmee.org/children/vbs. We need lots of volunteers for this space mission. Children’s Ministry Volunteers Needed

Preschool Donations Needed
