Give Everywhere

Summer is upon us. A lot of our church families will be traveling. Vacationing is what we do during the summer. That being said the programs and the ministries at the church do not stop. Along with Vacation Bible school in July and youth conferences going on we need our church family to continue to give faithfully. With the app and online giving options it makes giving, while away, much more convenient.

All Church Family Picnic

If you signed up for the “All Church Picnic” we will see you today at 5:30 pm at Johnson University Florida in the Student Union Building. The pool will be available along with the sand-volleyball court. So bring your lawn chairs and towels and join us for a great time of fun and fellowship. Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips & drinks will be provided by the church! Please bring a dessert to share. Donations will be accepted.

ATTENTION ALL HEROES 

(A.K.A. VBS VOLUNTEERS)

Join us on Sunday, July 17 at 4:00 pm in the Youth Room (2nd floor, rooms 212 & 214) for a VERY important informational meeting for all VBS volunteers. We appreciate your willingness to serve in this capacity and want to make sure we are all using the same playbook. If you have any questions, see Coach Jenn. See you on the 17th!!

School Supply Drive

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to struggling families here in Osceola County. Currently there are over 500 students in Osceola County’s high schools that are part of the FIT (families in transition) program.  FCC, along with several other churches in the area, are teaming up to provide school supplies for these families and students. 

Please bring school supplies to the church by Sunday, July 17, so that we can make a difference and love our neighbors in a tangible way. Stop by the display in the foyer for a list of supplies needed. 

     

Donations Needed for VBS!

Calling all sports fanatics!!! We are in need of your sporting equipment to decorate the church building for VBS. Please bring all donations to the VBS table in the foyer or drop them off to the church office. Please make sure they are marked with your name. Don't have any sporting equipment? Stop by the VBS table to see what other donations are needed to make the week a success! ALL donations are due Sunday, July 24. Thank you for all your help and support! 

Be a Hero

Game Day Central is coming July 25-29 to FCC Kissimmee! Our theme is “BEING A HERO” as we focus on what being a true hero for God looks like. In order to be prepared for this summer's spectacular VBS program we need YOU to volunteer. Motorcycle Ride & Lunch Invitation

Pastor Tom Martinez would like to extend a motorcycle ride invitation to all church members. The ride will take place on Saturday, July 30, at 9:30 am. Riders will meet at the church and then head towards a surprise destination. Bikers will be able to purchase lunch and enjoy in fellowship before returning to the church. KCA Seeking Donations

If you have access to any of these items in your home or the ability to purchase them, we would greatly appreciate your donation: 2 wooden rocking chairs, Little Tykes or Step Up playhouse for the playground, five I-pads to be able to add technology to our classrooms.

Open Teaching Positions

Kissimmee Christian Academy is hiring teachers and staff for the following positions for fall 2016: VPK teacher (4 & 5 yr. olds), Kindergarten teacher, and extended day teacher. Bilingual is a plus. Women at Rest Ministry

Women At Rest Ministry invites women from all walks of life to come learn how to trust God in the midst of their circumstances as we minister to each other, learn who our Father is and how much He loves us so we can learn to trust Him more deeply, no matter what we're facing. Our circumstances change but Gods love and faithfulness are constant. Our time together will be spent:

· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with God

· Praying over one another

· Ministering to women who are hurting

· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of God's Word

· Learning how to grow deeper in their relationship with our King

· Learning how to battle more effectively through prayer

· Learning how to become empowered by His grace and rest

TOPS -Take Off Pounds Sensibly

TOPS can help you reach your weight-loss goals by providing you with the tools, information, support, and accountability you need to be successful. T.O.P.S. focuses on making small, steady lifestyle changes that provide lasting weight loss and better health. Members learn to eat better, move more, and stay motivated through engaged educational programs that our experts prepare and that our volunteers present at weekly meetings. Our members focus on improvement not perfection. Together we recognize and celebrate our member’s victories, big & small. Weigh-in starts at 5:30 PM to 5:55 PM, program from 6:00 PM to 6:40 PM. For more information on how T.O.P.S. can help you, join us every Wednesday (meeting during summer months).

        

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a recovery ministry that applies the 8 Biblical Recovery Principles (based on the Beatitudes) with the goal of letting God work His healing power through us. This allows people to be “changed” spiritually by working through sound biblical principles. It is open to anyone who experiences pain, brokenness and needs support and encouragement. At Celebrate Recovery you can find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Where can you find healing from Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups? At Celebrate Recovery every Friday at 6:30 pm in room 206.

 "Connecting with Christ" class is a first stop for all guests and members alike to connect with information that is key to attendance and beneficial for ​participation in the family here at First Christian Kissimmee.  Whether you're a long time member, a first time guest - or any point in between, this class is especially for you.  The class is taught every Sunday morning at 9:30 am, room 204 upstairs and is a class you'll only take once!  You can enjoy the course and still make the 11:00 am worship service​-​all in the same Sunday. Take advantage of the class and make plans to attend! Sign up by noting your interest on your attendance card.

Dar en Todas Partes

El verano está sobre nosotros. Muchas de los miembros de nuestra familia congregacional estarán viajando. Vacacional es lo que hacemos durante el verano. Pero la iglesia no se va de vacaciones. Los programas y los ministerios en la iglesia continúan durante el verano. Además de escuela bíblica de vacaciones en julio y conferencias juveniles que continúan, necesitamos que los miembros de nuestra familia congregacional  que sigan dando fielmente. Con la aplicación y opciones disponibles en línea, dar sus diezmos y ofrendas  mientras lejos se ha hecho mucho más conveniente.

Pícnic Para la Familia Congregacional

Si se registraron para el pícnic de nuestra familia congregación, los veremos hoy en la Universidad de Johnson en el Edificio de la Unión Estudiantil a las 5:30 pm. La piscina estará disponible junto con el campo de voleibol (en arena). Así que traigan sus sillas portátiles y  toallas y acompáñenos para un tiempo divertido y lleno de compañerismo. ¡Sándwich de Chick-fil-A, papitas embolsadas y bebidas serán proporcionadas por la iglesia!  Por favor traiga un postre para compartir. Se aceptan donaciones.

Día de Juegos Familiares

Acompáñenos para  un tarde de dominós y juegos familiares.  El Ministerio Intercultural Evangelístico patrocinara una tarde llena de gozo y diversión para adultos y niños por igual. Adultos disfrutarán de dominós y juegos de cartas como briscas. Los niños podrán disfrutar de juegos de meza y aprender a  jugar juegos tradicionales de nuestros países de origen. Terminaremos el evento con un juego de lotería mexicana familiar. El evento es el  sábado, 23 de julio en el salón de compañerismo a las 2:00 pm. Inscríbase hoy y no se olvide traer su bocadillo favorito para compartir.

Sea un Héroe”

Nuestra escuela bíblica de verano comienza julio 25 hasta el 29. Nuestro tema es “Ser un Héroe”. Nos enfocamos en lo que significa ser un verdadero héroe para Dios. Para asegurarnos  que tengamos un programa de verano espectacular, necesitamos voluntarios. Paseo de Motora y Almuerzo

Tom Martínez quiere extender le una invitación de paseo de motoras a todos los miembros de la iglesia. El paseo ocurrirá el sábado, 30 de julio, a las 9:30 am. Participantes del paseo se reunirán en la iglesia y se dirigirán hacia local secreto donde los ciclistas pueden comprar su almuerzo y compartir en compa compartir en compañerismo antes de regresar a la iglesia. Por favor lleguen 15 minutos antes de que el paseo se inicie y tengan un tanque lleno de gasolina. *Motocicleta requerida. Estudio Bíblico Para Damas

Esta célula (en español) se reunión los martes a las 10:00 am en Poinciana. Es para mujeres interesadas en estudiar la Palabra de Dios, orar, y alabar a Dios. Este estudio bíblico y sus mensajes ayudaran a damas a conocer más a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, a ser guiadas por el Espíritu Santo en sus vidas diarias y a agradar a Dios. Mujeres en Quietud

Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:

·       Oraremos las unas por las otras 

·       Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios

·       Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo

·       Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con la verdad de la Palabra de Dios

·       Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con nuestro Señor

·       Aprenderemos a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración

·       Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su gracia y quietud

T.O.P.S. le puede ayudar alcanzar sus objetivos de pérdida y peso proveyéndole las herramientas, información y apoyo necesitado para alcanzar su éxito. T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo de vida pequeños y constante que proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a través de programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros centrarse en mejorar no la perfección. Juntos reconocemos y celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes & pequeñas. Celebramos la Recuperación

Celebramos la Recuperación es un ministerio de recuperación que aplica los 8 Principios de Recuperación bíblicos (basado en las Bienaventuranzas) con el objetivo de dejar que Dios trabaje a través de nosotros con su poder curativo. Esto permite que la gente sea “cambiada” espiritualmente trabajando a través de principios bíblicos sanos. Celebramos la Recuperación está abierto a cualquier persona que experimenta dolor, quebrantamiento y necesita apoyo y ánimo. Celebramos la Recuperación celebrar puede encontrar libertad de heridas, hábitos y complejos. Esta libertad crea paz, serenidad, alegría y más importantemente, una relación personal más fuerte con Dios y otros. ¿Dónde se puede encontrar curación de heridas, hábitos y complejos? En Celebramos la Recuperación los viernes a las 6:30 pm en la salón 206.

“Conectando con Dios” es la clase para visitantes y miembros por igual para conectarse con la información clave para su asistencia y es un beneficioso para la participación con la familia de la Primera Iglesia Cristiana de Kissimmee. Si usted ha sido un miembro por mucho tiempo, visitante por primera vez o cualquier punto en el medio, esta clase es especialmente para usted. ¡El curso se ofrece cada domingo, a las 9:30 am, en el salón 204 y una asistencia única es todo lo que se requiere! Usted puede disfrutar del curso y toda vía llegar a tiempo para el servicio de adoración a las 11:00 am. ¡Aproveche las ventajas de la clase y a haga planes para asistir!
