Family Meal
Tonight’s menu is: Roast beef, mashed potatoes and
gravy, green beans, rolls and brownies. If you’ve already signed up for this week’s meal we will see you tonight
in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30-6:15PM.
If you’d like to register for next week’s meal (Angel
chicken pasta, mandarin orange salad, garlic bread and chocolate éclair cake) please
sign up on Sunday’s welcome card, or call the church office (407-847-2543) no
later than Monday August 22. Please
notify us if you must cancel so we can avoid waste. Cost is $4 per person, $2 per
child under 12 years, (5 yr. old and younger are free), $15 per family (maximum

Kid’s
Choir
Kid’s Choir starts TONIGHT and runs
through December 18. This year’s performance of “Christmas in
Reverse” will be December 18 at 5:30 pm.
All K-5 students are invited to attend Kid’s Choir each Wednesday at
6:20 pm to prepare.

Welcome Lunch
There will be a lunch provided immediately following the
11AM service for all college age (18-24 yrs. old) young adults who would like
to learn more about our Six8 Ministry. Please make plans to come join us!
Calling all Children’s Ministry Volunteers!
THIS Sunday, August 21 there will be two
volunteer informational meetings for all those who are volunteering and for all
those who are interested in becoming a volunteer. We have spaces to fill and we
need you! Meetings will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Nursery and Preschool
will be at 3:00PM and Elementary at 4:00PM. If you have any

Rock
the Universe
Rock Student Ministries is taking it's high school students to Universal
Studios on September 9th and 10th for Rock the Universe. RTU is a two day event where thousands of
Christians will come together to enjoy fellowship, performances from some of
the hottest names in Christian music and to ride the rides. The cost of the
tickets for the two nights is $100 and is due on Sunday September 4th. For more

Days
of Glory Series
For 40 years the Hebrew people wondered through a vast wilderness. God was preparing them emotionally,
physically and spiritually to participate with Him in a Land He had promised
their ancestors. This series will
reflect on how these passages in Joshua can help us in our present situations
and prepare us for Days of Glory.

W.I.N.G.S. Widows Ministry Lunch and Movie
W.I.N.G.S.
Salad Lunch and Movie "Risen" on Saturday, August 27 from
12:00 to 4:00 PM. We'll meet upstairs in room 221. Bring a salad to share such
as tossed greens, pasta, fruit, jello, chicken, tuna, slaw. Enjoy the uplifting story of the resurrection

Moppets
Volunteer Training
Moppets is the nursery-preschooler program that is a part of MOPs (Mother
of Preschoolers). This ministry is offered here at our church the 2nd Thursday of every month from
September - May. If you have volunteered or are interested in volunteering for
our Moppets program, please attend our informational meeting on Sunday, August 28 from 12:30-1:30PM. Lunch will be

Volunteers Needed
The tech team is in need of folks to run lighting and video cameras
during our morning services. These require minimal skill but have a big
impact on our church! The many volunteers behind the scenes make the
Kissimmee Christian we love. You can do this! Stop by the tech booth in

Women at Rest Ministry
Women At Rest Ministry invites
women from all walks of life to come learn how to trust God in the midst of
their circumstances as we minister to each other, learn who our Father is and how much He loves us so we can
learn to trust Him more deeply, no matter what we're facing. Our circumstances
change but Gods love and faithfulness are constant. Our time together will be
spent:
· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with
God
· Praying over one another
· Ministering to women who are hurting
· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of
God's Word
· Learning how to grow
deeper in their relationship with our King
· Learning how to battle more effectively
through prayer
· Learning how to become empowered by His
grace and rest

T.O.P.S. focuses on making small, steady lifestyle changes that provide lasting
weight loss and better health. Members learn to eat better, move more, and stay
motivated through engaged educational programs that our experts prepare and
that our volunteers present at weekly meetings. Our members focus on
improvement not perfection. Together we recognize and celebrate our member’s
victories, big & small. Weigh-in starts at 5:30 PM to 5:55

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate
Recovery is a recovery ministry that applies the 8 Biblical Recovery Principles
(based on the Beatitudes) with the goal of letting God work His healing power
through us. This allows people to be “changed” spiritually by working through
sound biblical principles. It is open to anyone who experiences pain,
brokenness and needs support and encouragement. At Celebrate Recovery you can
find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This freedom creates peace,
serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God
and others. Where can you find healing from Hurts, Habits, and
Hang-ups? At Celebrate Recovery every
Friday at 6:30 pm in room 206.

Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres

Celebramos la Recuperación es un
