Estate Planning Seminar by Financial Planning Ministry

Kissimmee Christian Church is hosting an Estate Planning Seminar on Wednesday, March 8 at 7PM in the fellowship hall.  This seminar is put on by Financial Planning Ministry (FPM).  FPM provides estate planning services, including the creation of wills and trusts. Renew and Refresh – Women’s Ministry Event

Renew and Refresh is a Women’s Ministry worship service that will be held TOMORROW, March 2, at 7:00PM.  This will be a time to come worship together, hear inspiring testimonies and learn what it means to leave a lasting legacy. Haiti (June Mission Trip) Informational Meeting

There will be an informational meeting this Sunday immediately following second service in Room 217 if you are interested in going on the Mission Trip to Haiti in June. 

Sunday Funday

On the first Sunday evening of every month, Rock Student Ministries pauses from its normal programming to host a night of fun and fellowship that we call Sunday Funday. Sunday, March 5 is that night. Festivities will be at the Regal Cinemas at the Loop.  We will be watching the new Lego Batman movie.   Please meet there if you plan to attend.  

Circle of Faith

Circle of Faith will meet at the home of Jean Shaver on Tuesday, March 7 at 7PM.  Circle of Faith is a woman’s group that meets together to encourage one another in their faith and walk with the Lord.  Please bring paper products for the young men at Grace Landing.  RSVP to Jean if you plan to attend.  You may reach her at 321.287.3344.

Fostering our Future Meeting

If you signed up to be a volunteer, foster family, leader, or respite family in our church Fostering Our Future Ministry or if you wish to be a part of this ministry this is IMPORTANT TO YOU! We are having a required  meeting  for all members of the KCC-FOF ministry. On March 8, grab your Wednesday night meal and come to Room 104, where we will have tables for seating and lots of good discussion about what comes next in our FOF ministry process.  We will finish before electives begin.

New Elective Begins—Marriage Class

Beginning Wednesday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m. a new elective begins. Experiencing God’s Dream For You Marriage will be led by Vaughn and Mary Williams in the chapel. This class is a twelve part topical series examining God’s design for marriage, with practical instruction to help you make your marriage what God desires it to be. If you’ve been married two months or twenty plus years, this class will be a blessing to you as you grow to honor God in with your marriage.  

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

All mothers of preschoolers (birth to Kindergarten) are invited to our MOPS meeting on Thursday, March 9 from 9:30 - 11:30 am, at the church. Childcare is provided. Contact Leslie Watson, MOPS Coordinator, for more information, 407-232-1567.

Motorcycle Ride

There will be a ride to Daytona on Friday, March 10 (the first day of Bike Week).  For those interested we will be leaving the parking lot of the church at 9AM.  If you are interested in attending this event please contact Tom Martinez at Tom.Martinez@kissimmeechristianchurch.org

Haitian Cuisine Taste Festival

Christian Coalition Ministry is partnering with Samaria Shining Light Helping Org., Future Today, and Kingdom Movement INC. to help fundraise money for an Orphanage in Haiti.  They will be hosting a Haitian Cuisine Taste Festival at Osceola Heritage Park on March 11 from 10AM-9PM.  Tickets for this event will be available in the foyer.  Please make plans to help support these missionaries.

Men of Issachar Breakfast

The next Men of Issachar Breakfast will take place on Saturday, March 11, 8:00 am here at the church.

4^th & 5^th Grade Bake Sale

Do you like cookies and brownies? On Sunday, March 12 our 4th & 5th graders that attended CIY's SuperStart are having a bake sale! The theme this year for SuperStart was Recipe for Generosity. We plan on showing God's Generosity by selling our sweet treats and giving the money to a chosen mission. Stop by our table to purchase a sweet treat and spread God's Generosity to those in need.

Beat the Heat – Spring Break Edition

On Wednesday, March 15 (that's during Spring Break!) our Elementary kiddos will be going to Gatorland. Gatorland showcases thousands of alligators and crocodiles, including four extremely rare white alligators. They have a free-flight aviary, petting zoo, animal shows, and more! Cost is $20 per child, which will include admission, feeding of some of the animals, and a train ride. You can sign your child up online through the church website (no PayPal available) or get a registration form at Kids Registration. Please register your child by Sunday, March 5.

Marriage Enrichment Seminar

Kissimmee Christian Church is presenting a Marriage Enrichment Seminar entitled Love Always on March 17 and 18. The seminar will be led by Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley of Focus on the Family. Please plan to be a part of this great weekend focused on strengthening your marriage in the Lord. Cost is $25 per person (covers seminar and lunch on Saturday, March 18). Childcare will be available for nursery and one year old children.

MOPS Antiquities Fundraiser

Our annual Antiquities fundraiser is coming up March 23-25. For a $10.00 sitting fee, you'll receive a 10x13 professional photo with the opportunity to purchase additional photos. Parent Dedication Class and Service

Life’s Healing Choices Class—Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a recovery ministry that applies the 8 Biblical Recovery Principles (based on the Beatitudes) with a goal to let God work through us in providing His healing power. This allows people to be “changed” spiritually by working through sound Biblical principles.  If you are interested in working through these hurts, habits and hang-ups, sign-up at the Connect Counter to join the new Life’s Healing Choices class for both men and women starting Sunday, March 5 in Rms. 210 & 204.

Celebrate Recovery

You're invited to come share God's healing power each Friday night at 6:30.  You will find you are welcomed by others who come each week to work through their own hurts, habits and hang-ups.  And we are happy to say that we now have a place for children, ages 3 years through 5th grade.  So what's holding you back?  Come and give it a try.  

Celebration Place—for Kids

Want to attend Celebrate Recovery, but not sure what to do with the kids?
Kissimmee Christian Church is happy to announce the start of Celebration Place for kids 5K through 5th grade and Mini Celebration Place for 3 and 4 year olds. Celebration Place helps inspire kids with hope and joy through fun and fellowship as they learn to rely on Jesus. Please come early enough so you will have time to get your child checked in safely before going upstairs for Celebrate Recovery's Worship time, which begins at 6:30.

Tech Volunteers Needed

The tech team is in need of folks to run lighting and video cameras during our morning services.  These require minimal skill but have a big impact on our church!  The many volunteers behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love.  You can do this! Women at Rest Ministry

Women At Rest Ministry invites women from all walks of life to come learn how to trust God in the midst of their circumstances as we minister to each other, learn who our Father is and how much He loves us so we can learn to trust Him more deeply, no matter what we're facing. Our circumstances change but Gods love and faithfulness are constant. Our time together will be spent:

· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with God

· Praying over one another

· Ministering to women who are hurting

· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of God's Word

· Learning how to grow deeper in their relationship with our King

· Learning how to battle more effectively through prayer

· Learning how to become empowered by His grace and rest

Supera el Calor — Edición de Primavera

El Miércoles 15 de Marzo (¡ésto es durante las vacaciones de primavera!) Nuestros niños de Escuela Elemental irán a Gatorland. Gatorland tiene miles de lagartos y cocodrilos, incluyendo cuatro cocodrilos blancos extremadamente raros. Tienen aves, zoológico de animales domésticos, shows de animales, y más! El costo es de $20 por niño, que incluirán admisión, alimentos para algunos de los animales y un viaje en el tren. Puedes registrar a tu niño en el website de la Iglesia (no hay Pay Pal), en el app, o consigue una forma de registración en la Mesa de los Niños. Favor registrar los niños no más tarde del domingo 5 de Marzo.

Seminario para Fortalecer el Matrimonio

La Iglesia Cristiana de Kissimmee presenta un ministerio titulado “Amar Siempre” se llevará a cabo el 17 y 18 de Marzo. El seminario va a ser dirigido por el Dr. Greg y Erin Smalley, de la organización Enfocándose en la Familia. Favor planea participar en este estupendo fin de semana, enfocándote en fortalecer tu matrimonio en el Señor. El costo es de $ 25.00 por persona, (cubre el seminario y el almuerzo del Sábado 18 de Marzo.)  4to y 5to Grado — Venta de Dulces

¿Te gustan las galletas y los brownies? El Domingo 12 de Marzo los estudiantes de 4to y 5to grado estarán asistiendo CIY’s Super Start y van a tener una venta de dulces. El tema de Super Star este año es Recetas para Generosidad. Planeamos enseñar la ge- nerosidad de Dios vendiendo nuestros dulces y entregando el dinero para Misiones escogidas. Visita nuestra mesa y compra nuestros dulces y riega la generosidad de Dios para todos los necesitados.

Estudios de Pasos a Seguir para Celebrar la Recuperacion

Celebrando la Recuperación es un ministerio donde aplicas los 8 principios bíblicos basados en las beatitudes, permitiendo que el Señor trabaje en nosotros proveyendo Su poder de sanidad. Este studio ayudará a las personas a cambiar espiritualmente trabajando con principios bíblicos. Si estás interesado en trabajar en tus heridas, hábitos y complejos, favor de firmar en la mesa de conección  para unirte a este nuevo grupo de studio. Las clases comenzarán el domingo 5 de Febrero.  Libros 1 al 4. Damas comienzan a las 9:30 en la oficina de Jim y los caballeros a las 11:00 am en el cuarto   205.

¿No Te Pierdas Las Bendiciones De Servir

A veces, en nuestro fervor bíblico para enfatizar que la salvación no es por obras, no somos capaces de apreciar plenamente que hemos sido salvados para hacer buenas obras (Efesios 2:10). De hecho, Dios te ha colocado en tu iglesia con el fin de que tú puedas ser edificado, de modo que puedas trabajar y servirle. Si nos permitimos seguir siendo sedentarios esto significa que estamos descuidando el mismo propósito de Dios para nuestra salvación y de otros. Al servir, sigues y te comportas como Jesús y con eso también lo glorificamos. Mujeres en Quietud

Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:

·       Oraremos las unas por las otras 

·       Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios

·       Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo

·       Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con la verdad de la Palabra de Dios

·       Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con nuestro Señor

·       Aprenderemos a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración

·       Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su gracia y quietud

T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo de vida pequeños y constantes, étos proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. Celebramos la Recuperación es un ministerio de recuperación que aplica los 8 Principios de Recuperación bíblicos (basado en las Bienaventuranzas) con el objetivo de dejar que Dios trabaje a través de nosotros con su poder curativo. Esto permite que la gente sea “cambiada” espiritualmente trabajando a través de principios bíblicos sanos. Celebramos la Recuperación está abierto a cualquier persona que experimenta dolor, quebrantamiento y necesita apoyo y ánimo. Celebramos la Recuperación celebrar puede encontrar libertad de heridas, hábitos y complejos. Esta libertad crea paz, serenidad, alegría y más importantemente, una relación personal más fuerte con Dios y otros. ¿Dónde se puede encontrar curación de heridas, hábitos y complejos? En Celebramos la Recuperación los viernes a las 6:30 pm en la salón 206.
