Spaghetti Dinner, Student & Silent Auction- February
18
This Sunday, February 18 from
5-7PM is our first annual Spaghetti Dinner/Student Auction
fundraiser. All proceeds from this event will go toward a
life-changing week of camp for our middle and high school students. At
this event, you and your family and friends will experience exceptional service
along with amazing food. In addition, you also get a chance to play a part in
supporting our students. The student auction portion of this event has been
created for our student to be auctioned off for a workday within a three-week
window of the event. Our students are skilled in areas like cleaning,
rearranging and moving things. They are also able to wash cars and do yard
work. These workdays will be scheduled for a 4-hour shift on
a Saturday morning. So, come ready to bid on your group and remember
that these funds are going to a great cause!
Women’s
Ministry Service Project
Our Women’s
Ministry and Feet on the Ground ministries are teaming up to provide
appreciation goody bags in March for our Kissimmee Police Department female
officers. We
will be collecting items during the month of February and we will deliver them
next month. We are looking to fill 20 gift bags this year. We are looking for
several different items to stuff the bags with. Please consider donating some
nail files, nail polish, nivea/blistex/chapstick lip care products, gum, mints,
protein bars, single serving trail mix packs, bottles of Gatorade or Powerade,
gel hand sanitizers, hand sanitizing wipes, pens, or small note pads. Please no
Valentine candies. We have a blue donation box on the counter outside of the

Fostering Our Future (FOF)
Our foster care ministry,
Fostering Our Future, will hold its semi-annual "Life on Mission"
information meeting in the chapel on Sunday, Feb 18th during
first service (9:30AM). Yummy food will be provided. Anyone
interested in becoming a part of this ministry and those already a part of FOF
are encouraged to attend.
Middle School Believe- Fri. and Sat., Feb. 23 & 24
Believe is a
high-energy weekend event for junior high students only. It is structured
specifically for junior high students and is packed with powerful worship and
teaching from God’s word. The students will spend one night with their friends
and leaders at the church. The cost of this event is $80 which includes the
event, lodging, gas, two meals and a t-shirt if $30 deposit is paid by 1/24/18.
Any time after this date, the cost increases $10.
MOPS Friendship Festival
Join us for our first MOPS
Friendship Festival on February 24 from 11AM-2PM here at the church! We'll have
lots of affordable Family Fun! Food, Bounce Houses, Shopping, Silent Auction,
Games and Crafts! More info to follow shortly. Vendor Spaces Available! Some
activities and food will have a cost, as this is our Annual Fundraiser for
Kissimmee MOPS and MomsNext. Please make plans to attend this event and support
one of our many ministries.
Men’s
Ministry Lake Aurora Retreat
March 2-3, Lake
Aurora Christian Camp is hosting their annual Men’s Retreat. There is
information available at Home Base or the camp’s website, www.lakeaurora.org,
if you are interested in attending.
New Men’s Ministry Group - Compass
The Men’s
Ministry is launching a new ministry called Compass. Compass is for men 18-30
years old and is focused on helping provide open door opportunities for
spiritual growth, building friendships and connection in the life of the
church. Compass meets two Sunday evenings a month, once for a group study and
once for a fellowship outing. The first gathering is Sunday, February 25 at
6:00 p.m. in the chapel.
YOUNG AT HEART
There are several
events for our senior citizens coming up.
February 22 -
Shuffleboard and Lunch at Good Samaritan*.
March 8 - Young at
Heart Day at Lake Aurora Christian Camp.
May 21-May 25 - Senior Saints in the Smokies (attending
with Christ’s Church of Marion County).

(Widows’ Ministry) Lunch and A Movie
Inviting all widows and single
women over 55 to lunch at Diane's Creations &Tea Room in downtown Kissimmee
on Saturday, February 24th. We'll meet at KCC at 11:30 AM. After
lunch and shopping, we will come back to KCC to watch the movie "Wonder."

There will be a ride to Daytona
on Friday, March 10 (the first day of Bike Week). For those interested we will be meeting at

Study
Celebrate Recovery is starting a
new Step Study for Ladies called “The Journey Begins.” It will be on Tuesday
nights from 7-9PM. If you are struggling with a hurt, habit or hang-up, please

Estudios de Pasos a Seguir para Celebrar la
Recuperacion
Celebrando la Recuperación es un ministerio
donde aplicas los 8 principios bíblicos basados en las beatitudes, permitiendo
que el Señor trabaje en nosotros proveyendo Su poder de sanidad. Este studio
ayudará a las personas a cambiar espiritualmente trabajando con principios
bíblicos. Si estás interesado en trabajar en tus heridas, hábitos y complejos,
favor de firmar en la mesa de conección para unirte a este nuevo grupo de
studio. Las clases comenzarán el domingo 5 de Febrero. Libros 1 al 4.

Mujeres en Quietud
Mujeres en Quietud invita a
mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de
sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender
quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en
Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias
cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante
nuestro tiempo juntas:
· Oraremos las unas por las otras
· Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios
· Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo
· Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con
la verdad de la Palabra de Dios
· Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con
nuestro Señor
· Aprenderemos
a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración
· Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su
gracia y quietud

¿Están listos para dejar de hacer dieta y
comenzar a hacer verdaderos cambios? T.O.P.S. le puede ayudar a lograr sus
objetivos de pérdida de peso proveyéndole las herramientas, información y apoyo
necesitado para alcanzar éxito. T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo
de vida pequeños y constantes, étos proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso
duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a
través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que
nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no
buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y
celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. De 5:30 pm a
5:55 pm comenzaremos a pesarnos en la balanza y el programa dura de 6:00 pm a
