Reminder
There will be no Wednesday family meal or activities Wednesday, March 25.  Wednesday family meals & activities will resume April 1.
Be sure to sign up at Home Base for our new Wednesday electives.
  
Baby Shower
Ladies, you are invited to a baby shower for Maggie Wells on Saturday, April 4, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, in the church café.  There will be food, fellowship and fun so please RSVP to Kellie Spencer by April 1.  You can RSVP in person or via email to KSpencer@JohnsonU.edu.  Maggie is registered at Babies R Us, Target, Pottery Barn and will also have a list of products she wants from 31.  If you have any questions please see Kellie Spencer.  Hope to see you there!

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers)
All mothers of preschoolers (birth to Kindergarten) are invited to our MOPS meeting on Thursday, Apr. 9, 9:30 - 11:30 am, at the church.  There is no charge for the meetings.  MOPS meets here at the church the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Contact Diane Lytle, MOPS Coordinator, for more information, 407-933-5096.

Men’s Breakfast
Our next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday, Apr. 11, 8:00 am here at the church.  Come and enjoy a great breakfast and an opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value the role of being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted culture.  Please sign up at the Ministry Center.

Next Step Class & Lunch
Our “Next Step” class is for those interested in knowing more about First Christian Church.  The class will be led by John Shelley on Sunday, Apr. 12, at 12:30 pm in room 142 (Chapel).  Lunch and childcare will be provided.  Please email the church office, fill out the information card in the pews or sign up at the Ministry Center to let us know if you are interested in attending this class. 

Parent Dedication Class

New parents, please join us for our Parent Dedication Class Sunday, Apr. 12, at 11:30 am, in room 202.  You will find out about our Parent Dedication service, get an introduction to our children’s ministry and meet other new parents just like you.  Then be a part of Parent Dedication on April 26, 9:30 or 11:00 am services.  Please RSVP for both the class and the service you would like to participate in.  Email a photo of your baby and one of your entire family to patti.peters@fcckissimmee.org.

Relay for Life Luminaries
Luminaries will be on sale for Relay for Life Sunday, March 22, after each morning worship service, in the cafe area (look for the poster).  The cost is $5 each and can be decorated if desired, in support of a cancer survivor or memory of a cancer victim.  If you would like to sign up to run in the Relay for Life event, Saturday, April 18, stop by the same display.  Barb Ralston will be at the display if you need more information.

Easter Lilies
It’s time to order Easter lilies in honor or memory of a loved one.  Special envelopes to order Easter lilies can be found at Home Base.  Cost of the lilies will be $5.00 each and must be ordered no later than Sunday, March 22.  Checks should be made payable to First Christian Church.  Place the designated envelope, with the money, in the drop box at Home Base.


“New Creation” Concert
Please join us on Sunday, Mar. 22, at 5:30 pm, here at the church, for a concert by  New Creation.  Come and enjoy an evening of choral anthems, contemporary praise songs, spoken word, and drama.  The program is centered on the fact that we are Loved by our Creator!  Admission is free and all are welcome.

Women’s Worship Event
First Christian Church’s Women’s Ministry is hosting a “Renew & Refresh” worship event on Tuesday, Mar. 17, at 7:00 pm, here at the church.  All women are invited, so bring your friends!

Worship Tech Training Seminars
This Saturday, Mar. 14, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, will be our first Worship Tech Training Seminar.  It is being held in the balcony, once a month, to explore the various technical disciplines that are used in the church.  Anyone interested in how technology works, or is interested in joining one of the tech teams, is invited to attend and all current tech team members are encouraged to attend.  This week's topic is "Fundamentals of Sound Reinforcement".  Please contact Dean Parker via email at Worship@fcckissimmee.org to RSVP for this class or if you need any additional information.

Commitment Sunday!!!
This Sunday March 8th, is our Commitment
Sunday.  My prayer is that everyone will take
part of Vision 2020 and give the most courageous
gift ever given to the church.  Please fill out your
card with your two-year commitment to the Ministry
Center.  Let’s make this Sunday a day of celebration!
If you didn’t receive a commitment card last week,
there will be one in this Sunday’s bulletin.
