This Sunday, August 4, is “Student Sunday.” Come prepared to be blessed as our youth lead the worship service. Chris Wells, our Youth Minister, will be preaching on Sunday morning, and D. J. Rodeffer, our youth ministry intern, will be speaking at the 5: 30 service.

Wednesday, August 7 is the date for the next Church Family picnic. Fun begins at 6:00 pm, at Johnson University Florida. Pool and sand volleyball court will be available. Sandwiches, chips and drinks supplied by Chick-fil-A, so bring a dessert to share! (Donations to help cover the cost of food are welcome!) You must sign up if you plan to eat.  Please help us restock the shelves of our food pantry. In the past two weeks, we have had to turn people away because our supplies were so low. What do we need? Everything! (Except green beans – we have enough of those for awhile!) Cereal, peanut butter, jelly, beef stew, fruit, juice, powdered milk, ravioli, crackers, soup. We also like to provide our neighbors in need with basics: toilet paper, soap, shampoo, razors, toothpaste and deodorant. |
