Prayer Seminar
On Saturday, January 17, 9:00 am to noon, Dave Butts from Harvest Prayer Ministry will be conducting a three hour workshop entitled “The Power of a Praying Church”.

Session One – God has called us a House of Prayer – Transforming the church!
Session Two – God has called us to intimacy with Him – Transforming our lives!
Session Three – God has called us to watch and pray – Transforming our world!

We will begin Saturday morning with a light breakfast at 8:30 am and go right into these life changing messages.  Everyone in the church is encouraged to attend.  Please email, staff@fcckissimmee.org, or call the church office (407-847-2543), if you are planning on being a part of this exciting conference.

Florida Bible Conference
First Christian Church Kissimmee is hosting the Florida Bible Conference January 27-29.  Join believers from around the state of Florida.  Program begins Tuesday night at 6:45 pm.  Music by Art Bush and Steven Foster.  A meal is provided Wednesday night at 5:30 pm ($5 cost).  For more information email thecra@thecra.org.  Sponsored by Central Florida Ministers Association and the Christian Restoration Association.

New Small Group
The Solivita/Poinciana small group will start at Ron & Carol Smith’s home at 692 Shorehaven Dr. Tuesday night, January 13th, 7:00 pm.  We will be meeting every other Tuesday.  Anyone planning to attend should call Carol Smith (281)793-2434 or e-mail her at claude15nj@aol.com.  Carol will give instructions on how to go through security at the entry gate.  We will be using a DVD series by Ray Vander Laan called “Walking with God in the Desert”.  He walks through the Holy Land area with a group of people as he teaches.  Are you going through a difficult period of life?  The loss of a loved one?  Unemployment?  A crisis of faith?  During these desert times, it’s easy to think God has disappeared.  Instead, discover that it’s only when we are totally dependent on Him that we find Him closer than ever and can experience God’s amazing grace and provision.

Use your attendance card on Sunday to sign up for the Wednesday night (5:30 pm) family meal or call the church office on Monday to make reservations for you and your family.

 Jan. 14th Menu:
