Wednesday Family Meal

Join us this Wednesday, August 17 at 5:30 pm for supper in the Fellowship Hall.  The menu is: Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and brownies. Register on Sunday’s welcome card, or call the church (407-847-2543) no later than Monday August 15.  Please notify us if you must cancel so we can avoid waste.  Cost is $4 per person, $2 per child under 12 years, (5 yr. old and younger are free), $15 per family (maximum of 6 per family).

Men of Issachar Breakfast

The Next Men of Issachar Breakfast will take place on Saturday, Aug 13, 8:00 am here at the church. This is an opportunity for men to gather, fellowship, building long lasting friendships and connect with God's Word, and learn how to live it out in a real and relevant way in their daily lives. The breakfast is also a fantastic opportunity for men to invite friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers and introduce them to the life-saving message of Jesus Christ. Women’s Celebrate Recovery Step Study Workshop

If you are starting the fall semester step study on August 17 or have just started the Sunday morning Step Study this craft workshop is just for you. Come join us for an afternoon full of fun on August 13 at 11:30 am –1:00 pm in room 206, with the Ladies of Celebrate Recovery! Ladies will be crafting a one of a kind journal to use during their current or fall step study. Plus trivia questions and prizes! We will also have the resources available that you will need so you can get a jump start on your step study: the new *Step Study books 5-8, CR Study Bibles with a step by step guide that follows along with your step study lessons, CR Devotional books & outline that matches devotionals up with the corresponding 12 steps that follow along with your step study lesson and women who are Step Study experts to answer questions. Homeschool Co-Op

All homeschool families are invited to our Kissimmee Christian Homeschoolers Kickoff Party and Information Meeting at Orange Bowl Lanes of Kissimmee, Tuesday August 16, 10:30AM-Noon.  Come meet other homeschool families, find out about our co-op classes, drama club, park days, and field trips for the 2016-17 school year and learn how to bowl!  Cost to bowl is $4.75 per child for 2 games and shoes.  RSVP on Facebook: Kissimmee Christian Homeschoolers.

Kid’s Choir

Kid’s Choir runs August 17-December 18.  This year’s performance of “Christmas in Reverse” will be December 18 at 5:30 pm.  All K-5 students are invited to attend Kid’s Choir each Wednesday at 6:20 pm to prepare.

Calling all Children’s Ministry Volunteers!

On Sunday, August 21 there will be two volunteer informational meetings for all those who are volunteering and for all those who are interested in becoming a volunteer. Atlanta Falcons vs Miami Dolphins

The Singles Ministry is sponsoring an all church event at Camping World Stadium on Thursday, August 25 at 8:00 pm. The Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons will be playing the first preseason NFL contest game in Orlando since 1996. You can be a part of this historic moment! Tickets are priced at $15 upper bowl or $40 lower bowl. Deadline for ticket purchases is Sunday, Aug. 14. Checks can be made payable to Kissimmee Christian Church. W.I.N.G.S. Ministry Lunch and Movie

W.I.N.G.S. Salad Lunch and Movie "Risen" on Saturday, August 27 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. We'll meet upstairs in room 221. Bring a salad to share such as tossed greens, pasta, fruit, jello, chicken, tuna, slaw.  Enjoy the uplifting story of the resurrection of Christ. Every Christian should see this epic film! Moppets Volunteer Training

Moppets is the nursery-preschooler program that is a part of MOPs (Mother of Preschoolers). This ministry is offered here at our church the 2nd Thursday of every month from September - May. If you have volunteered or are interested in volunteering for our Moppets program, please attend our informational meeting on Sunday, August 28 from 12:30-1:30PM. Tech Volunteers Needed

The tech team is in need of folks to run lighting and video cameras during our morning services.  These require minimal skill but have a big impact on our church!  The many volunteers behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love.  You can do this! Women at Rest Ministry

Women At Rest Ministry invites women from all walks of life to come learn how to trust God in the midst of their circumstances as we minister to each other, learn who our Father is and how much He loves us so we can learn to trust Him more deeply, no matter what we're facing. Our circumstances change but Gods love and faithfulness are constant. Our time together will be spent:

· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with God

· Praying over one another

· Ministering to women who are hurting

· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of God's Word

· Learning how to grow deeper in their relationship with our King

· Learning how to battle more effectively through prayer

· Learning how to become empowered by His grace and rest

T.O.P.S. focuses on making small, steady lifestyle changes that provide lasting weight loss and better health. Members learn to eat better, move more, and stay motivated through engaged educational programs that our experts prepare and that our volunteers present at weekly meetings. Our members focus on improvement not perfection. Together we recognize and celebrate our member’s victories, big & small. Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a recovery ministry that applies the 8 Biblical Recovery Principles (based on the Beatitudes) with the goal of letting God work His healing power through us. This allows people to be “changed” spiritually by working through sound biblical principles. It is open to anyone who experiences pain, brokenness and needs support and encouragement. At Celebrate Recovery you can find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Where can you find healing from Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups? At Celebrate Recovery every Friday at 6:30 pm in room 206.

"Connecting with Christ" class is a first stop for all guests and members alike to connect with information that is key to attendance and beneficial for ​participation in the family here at First Christian Kissimmee.  Whether you're a long time member, a first time guest - or any point in between, this class is especially for you.  The class is taught every Sunday morning at 9:30 am, room 204 upstairs and is a class you'll only take once!  You can enjoy the course and still make the 11:00 am worship service​-​all in the same Sunday. Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:
