Ninos de Mexico Mission is located in Mexico City and seeks to help children grow and learn to love Jesus. Our church will be taking a mission trip there this summer, July 8-15, 2017.  Please stop by the Ninos de Mexico display outside the auditorium this weekend, welcome these missionaries, and learn more about their ministry. Mick O’Hanahan will be sharing more about this ministry at our 5:30PM service.

Christian Financial Resources is a longtime partner to Kissimmee Christian.  CFR makes investing in Kingdom work easy.  Sunday you’ll hear more about how investing personally with CFR can help to plant churches and build buildings, just like ours. Kissimmee Christian’s construction loan and capital campaign are a product of CFR.  Visit the CFR display outside the nursery and talk with Darin Key about your investments on Sunday.

Dessert and Silent Auction

Our annual Dessert auction is being held THIS Sunday!  This year we have added a Silent Auction to help raise funds for both our Youth Ministry and Kissimmee Christian Academy.  The auction bidding will take place in between services and will conclude at the end of second service so please be sure to bid on a dessert or a silent auction item.  We will also be having a live auction for some of the higher bidding items, so make plans to attend this right after second service dismisses.

 Sing n’ Sprout Classes

Sing n' Sprout is a Family n' Me style Music and Movement class for kids 6 months - 5 years old and their caregivers. We'll learn through play and music about God and his love! Circle of Faith

ROUNDUP

Alumni and friends please join us for a day of celebration, fun, and fellowship on Saturday, November 5.  ROUNDUP is a time to reflect on God’s provision as faculty, staff, students, and supporters and work together to further the message of Christ.  Steve Jones, Preaching Minister at Vero Christian Church and Johnson University Florida Alumnus (’82) will be the featured speaker. There will also be a variety of music, testimonies from students, and a few surprises.  Tell your friends, call your neighbors, put on your favorite western attire, and then join us for a great day on the Florida campus. Coffee’s brewing at 9:00 am, festivities begin at 10:00 am.  Smokehouse luncheon served at noon. *Advance registration required for childcare, ages infant – grade 5.  Call 407-569-1314, prior to October 21, 2016, to register your child.

Understanding Baptism Class

Have questions about baptism? Thinking about being baptized but not sure? Make plans now to attend this new 7 week Bible class entitled “Understanding Baptism” with Tom Jones starting November 6 in Rm 204 at 9:30AM. W.I.N.G.S. (Widows’ Ministry) Outing

Would you like to be treated to some good chocolate? WINGS (Widows ministry) is touring the Chocolate Kingdom in Kissimmee on Saturday, November 12. Meet at the church at 10AM. After our 45 minute tour, we will eat lunch at Cracker Barrel. Cost is $16.95 plus lunch expense. We will be back at the church by 2PM.  Sign up today at the Connect Counter.

Young at Heart Thanksgiving Dinner

We are ready for the holiday season! ROCK Student Ministries will once again be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the Young at Heart (anyone 55+) on Tuesday, November 15 at 5PM.  It is a great night of fellowship and great food where you get to sit back, relax, and allow the students and staff to serve you!  Sign up today at the Connect Counter! 

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to KCC and KCA November 16-20.  Lots of great books (Christian titles too!).  These make great Christmas presents for the children in your life.  Plan now to attend.  It will be open during our Holiday Gift Market, Wednesday night November 16, Sunday, November 20, and daily from 9AM-3PM, November 16-18 and you can shop online.  Flyers and more information will be available in November.

Holiday Gift Market

It’s time for the Holiday Gift Market, Thursday, November 17, 4-9PM.  Come shop for the season from home-based businesses in a festive atmosphere. Kids can meet Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus and make a special craft.  Homemade crafts and new item vendors are welcome. If you would like to be a vendor visit our website for more information.  Early bird vendors signed up before October 31st, receive first pick of table locations and a $10 registration fee (kid vendors age 6-12, $5).  Vendors signed up after November 1 will choose remaining spots at $15 each.  

Dinner Theater

The Dinner Theater is back!  Our drama team, the AOF Troop, is proud to present “Not a creature was stirring, not even a moose.”  Has the Yuletide tied you up in knots?  Are you missing the Christmas spirit?  You may just find the St. Nick knack in places you would never expect...Join us for a night of light-hearted Christmas fun!

Three performance dates:

Friday, Dec. 9—Dinner 6PM, Showtime 7PM.  Dessert served at intermission.  Tickets are $10 each.

Saturday, Dec. 10—Dinner 6PM, Showtime 7PM.  Dessert served at intermission.  Tickets are $10 each.

Sunday, Dec. 11—Showtime 5:30PM.  Dessert served at intermission.  Tickets are $5 each.

Tickets can be purchased on Sundays near the Café.

Tech Volunteers Needed

The tech team is in need of folks to run lighting and video cameras during our morning services.  These require minimal skill but have a big impact on our church!  The many volunteers behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love.  You can do this! Women at Rest Ministry

Women At Rest Ministry invites women from all walks of life to come learn how to trust God in the midst of their circumstances as we minister to each other, learn who our Father is and how much He loves us so we can learn to trust Him more deeply, no matter what we're facing. Our circumstances change but Gods love and faithfulness are constant. Our time together will be spent:

· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with God

· Praying over one another

· Ministering to women who are hurting

· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of God's Word

· Learning how to grow deeper in their relationship with our King

· Learning how to battle more effectively through prayer

· Learning how to become empowered by His grace and rest

Our members focus on improvement not perfection. Together we recognize and celebrate our member’s victories, big & small. Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a recovery ministry that applies the 8 Biblical Recovery Principles (based on the Beatitudes) with the goal of letting God work His healing power through us. This allows people to be “changed” spiritually by working through sound biblical principles. It is open to anyone who experiences pain, brokenness and needs support and encouragement. At Celebrate Recovery you can find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Where can you find healing from Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups? At Celebrate Recovery every Friday at 6:30 pm in room 206.

Celebration place—for kids

Want to attend Celebrate Recovery, but not sure what to do with the kids?
Kissimmee Christian Church is happy to announce the start of Celebration Place for kids 5K through 5th grade and Mini Celebration Place for 3 and 4 year olds. Celebration Place helps inspire kids with hope and joy through fun and fellowship as they learn to rely on Jesus. Please come early enough so you will have time to get your child checked in safely before going upstairs for Celebrate Recovery's Worship time, which begins at 6:30.

Subasta Silenciosa de Postres

Nuestra Subasta Anual de Postres se va a llevar a cabo el Domingo 30 de   Octubre. Este año vamos a añadir la subasta silenciosa para ayudar a levantar fondos para nuestro Ministerio de Jóvenes y para nuestra Academia Cristiana de Kissimmee. Necesitamos tu ayuda para preparar postres para vender en la subasta. Hay una lista de registración en la Mesa de Conección, Por favor has planes para traer un postre. Las apuestas de la Subasta van a llevarse a cabo en medio de los servicios y terminará en medio de segundo servicio.

REDONDEO

Alumnos y amigos por favor acompáñennos para un día de celebración, diversión y compañerismo el Sábado 5 de Noviembre. Redondeo es un tiempo para refleccio-       nar en la provisión de Dios. Participando:  facultad, personal, estudiantes y ayudantes trabajando juntos para avanzar el mensaje de Cristo. El Orador será Steve Jones, Mi- nistro, Predicador de la Iglesia Cristiana de Vero y la Universidad de Johnson en la Florida del Alumnado (“82”). También va a ver una variedad de música, testimonios de estudiantes, y algunas sorpresas. Dile a tus amigos, llama a tus vecinos, ponte tu mejor atuendo  del Oeste y entonces acompáñanos para un gran día en el campo  Universitario de Florida. Clases para entender el Bautismo

Mercado de Regalos Navideños

Llegó el tiempo del Mercado de Regalos Navideños, el Jueves 17 de Noviembre de 4:00 a 9:00 pm. Ven a comprar de los negocios familiares en una atmósfera festiva.  Los niños pueden conocer a Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus y pueden hacer manualidades especiales.  Vendedores de manualidades y artículos nuevos son bienvenidos. Si desea ser un vendedor visita Kissimmeechristianchurch.org/events. Click el link “Be a Vendor.” Los vendedores que se registren antes del 31 de Octubre recibirán la opción de escoger el local de su mesa y pagar $ 10.00 por la registración. (El costo para Los niños vendedores de edad 6 a 12 será de $ 5.00.) Los vendedores que firmen después del 1 de Noviembre escogerán el lugar que quede y pagarán $ 15.00. Cena en el Teatro

¡La Cena en el Teatro ha regresado!  Nuestro equipo de drama, el AOF Troop,  se enorgullece de presentar “Not a Creature was Stirring, not Even a Moose.”  ¿Estás perdiendo el espíritu de navidad? Acompáñanos para una noche de navidad alegre.

Días de las tres presentaciones:

Viernes, 9 de Diciembre. Cena a las 6:00 pm, Programa a las 7:00 pm.  Postre será servido durante el intermedio. El costo de las entradas es de $10.00 por persona.

Las entradas pueden comprarse el Domingo cerca del área del Café.

Feria de libros

La feria de libros llegará a la Iglesia Cristiana de Kissimmee y a la Academia Cristiana de Kissimee del 16-20 de Noviembre.  Tendrán una variedad de buenos libros ( Además títulos Cristianos). Estos puden ser un buen regalo de Navidad para los niños de tu vida. Planea asistir. Va a estar abierto durante nuestro Mercado de Regalos Navideños, el Miercoles 16 de Noviembre en la noche, el Domingo 20 de Noviembre y todos los días desde las 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Desde el 16 -18 de Novienbre puedes comprar en nuestra página de web. Panfletos y mayor información estarán disponibles en Noviembre.

Clases de Canto y Crecimiento

Las Clases de Canto y Crecimiento se llevan a cabo con un estilo de música y movimiento familiar para niños de 6 meses hasta 5 años de edad y sus familiares. A través de juegos y música aprenderán sobre el amor de Dios. Las clases comenzarán el 1 de Noviembre a las 11:00 am. El pago es de $ 45.00 por el primer niño y de $ 30.00 por cada hermano. ¿Estás listo para las celebraciones navideñas? El Ministerio de Estudiantes Rock nuevamente va a oficiar la Cena de Gracias Anual para los jóvenes de corazón (toda persona de 55+). El Martes 15 de Noviembre a las 5:00 pm. Es una gran noche para compartir y una cena exquisita para sentarse, relajarse y permitir que los estudiantes y los voluntarios le sirvan. Favor de registrarse en la Mesa de Conecciones.

No Te Pierdas Las Bendiciones De Servir

A veces, en nuestro fervor bíblico para enfatizar que la salvación no es por obras, no somos capaces de apreciar plenamente que hemos sido salvados para hacer buenas obras (Efesios 2:10). De hecho, Dios te ha colocado en tu iglesia con el fin de que tú puedas ser edificado, de modo que puedas trabajar y servirle. Si nos permitimos seguir siendo sedentarios esto significa que estamos descuidando el mismo propósito de Dios para nuestra salvación y de otros. Al servir, sigues y te comportas como Jesús y con eso también lo glorificamos. Mujeres en Quietud

Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:

·        Oraremos las unas por las otras 

·        Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios

·        Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo

·        Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con la verdad de la Palabra de Dios

·        Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con nuestro Señor

·        Aprenderemos a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración

·        Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su gracia y quietud

Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. Celebramos la Recuperación

Celebramos la Recuperación es un ministerio de recuperación que aplica los 8 Principios de Recuperación bíblicos (basado en las Bienaventuranzas) con el objetivo de dejar que Dios trabaje a través de nosotros con su poder curativo. Esto permite que la gente sea “cambiada” espiritualmente trabajando a través de principios bíblicos sanos. Celebramos la Recuperación está abierto a cualquier persona que experimenta dolor, quebrantamiento y necesita apoyo y ánimo. Celebramos la Recuperación celebrar puede encontrar libertad de heridas, hábitos y complejos. Esta libertad crea paz, serenidad, alegría y más importantemente, una relación personal más fuerte con Dios y otros. ¿Dónde se puede encontrar curación de heridas, hábitos y complejos? En Celebramos la Recuperación los viernes a las 6:30 pm en la salón 206.
