Marriage Enrichment Seminar

Kissimmee Christian Church is presenting a Marriage Enrichment Seminar entitled Love Always on THIS WEEKEND, March 17 and 18. The seminar will be led by Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley of Focus on the Family. Please plan to be a part of this great weekend focused on strengthening your marriage in the Lord. Cost is $25 per person (covers seminar and lunch on Saturday, March 18). Please sign up at the Connect Counter, on the church website or our App. There is a detailed retreat schedule available on the church website. Childcare will be available for nursery and one-year-old children.

Parent Dedication Class and Service

New parents, please join us for our Parent Dedication Class, Sunday, April 9 at 11:30 am in room 205. You will find out about Parent Dedication, get an introduction to our children’s ministry, and meet other new parents just like you. Then be a part of Parent Dedication during our services, April 23. Please RSVP for both the class and the service you would like to participate in. Email your RSVP and three photos (two of your baby and one of your entire family) to jenn.mehlenbacher@kissimmeechristianchurch.org.

Thinking about becoming part of our Family?

Every first Wednesday of each month in 2017 we have a Connections orientation class for anyone who is ready or is considering becoming a part of this great church family.  The next class will be held April 5 at 6:30 pm upstairs in Jim’s Office. WINGS (Widows Ministry) Outing to Winter Park

The WINGS (Widows Ministry) will be enjoying a day out on the waterways in Winter Park on Saturday, March 18.  We will meet at the church at 8:30AM and return to the church at 2:30PM.  We will all ride the church bus for transportation.  Please bring $12 for the boat ride and lunch and extra money for any shopping you may want to do. Family Night—Cupcake Wars

Your mission, should you choose to accept it...a cupcake decorating contest! Come out and join our Children's Ministry on Friday, April 7 from 7-9PM, for a night of family fun. Families will use their decorating skills to design some fabulous cupcake creations. Bring your aprons, bring your chef hats, bring your secret weapon decorations, and be ready for FUN! Cost is $10 per family and will cover the cost of cupcakes and decorations. Register online (no PayPal available for this event) or get your Registration Form from the Kids Registration desk.

Art Festival in Downtown Kissimmee

KCC and KCA have an amazing opportunity to reach out into our community and witness to families. We are doing a free art and music booth for children at the Spring Art Festival in downtown Kissimmee- Florida Mosaic April 8-9.  This festival happens right down the street from us on Broadway and will have a large attendance.  We will be telling families about our church and reaching out to their children with crafts and fun.  We need volunteers to help with this – if you could donate a two-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday, please sign up at the Connect Counter or see Sherry Misch or Leslie Watson for more details.

Youth Laser Tag

If you like shooting lasers and you are in middle or high school, then you don’t want to miss out on our laser tag outing.  ROCK Student Ministry will be partnering with several other churches for a night full of fun, food and fellowship.  This event will be held at Johnson University Florida on April 8 from 6-10PM.  The cost is $10 which will cover the games and food.  Please plan to meet at the college.  If you have any questions please see our Student Minister, James Riggs.

Kissimmee Christian Academy is collecting Box Tops for Education to help our school purchase items that are needed—each one collected is worth 10 cents!  Please save and bring these to church to put in our collection box, we appreciate your help!

Celebrate Recovery

You're invited to come share God's healing power each Friday night at 6:30. You will find you are welcomed by others who come each week to work through their own hurts, habits and hang-ups.  And we are happy to say that we now have a place for children, ages 3 years through 5th grade.  So what's holding you back?  Come and give it a try.  

Celebration Place—for Kids

Want to attend Celebrate Recovery, but not sure what to do with the kids?
Kissimmee Christian Church is happy to announce the start of Celebration Place for kids 5K through 5th grade and Mini Celebration Place for 3 and 4 year olds. Celebration Place helps inspire kids with hope and joy through fun and fellowship as they learn to rely on Jesus. Please come early enough so you will have time to get your child checked in safely before going upstairs for Celebrate Recovery's Worship time, which begins at 6:30.

Tech Volunteers Needed

The tech team is in need of folks to run lighting and video cameras during our morning services.  These require minimal skill but have a big impact on our church!  The many volunteers behind the scenes make the Kissimmee Christian we love.  You can do this! Women at Rest Ministry

Women At Rest, Sundays, 5-7pm in the Choir Room. It's not by coincidence that our acronym spells WAR. We find God's perfect rest through His peace and empowerment as we do battle on our knees. Our ministry has proven that struggles can be turned into spiritual victory when we learn to rest in God. So wherever you are in life, God is there for you and so are we. Let us walk with you in the love of God and His grace.

 Our time together will be spent:

· Learning how to have a more intimate relationship with God

· Praying over one another

· Ministering to women who are hurting

· Encouraging and supporting each other with the truth of God's Word

· Learning how to grow deeper in their relationship with our King

· Learning how to battle more effectively through prayer

· Learning how to become empowered by His grace and rest

La Iglesia Cristiana de Kissimmee presenta un ministerio titulado “Amar Siempre” se llevará a cabo el 17 y 18 de Marzo. El seminario va a ser dirigido por el Dr. Greg y Erin Smalley, de la organización Enfocándose en la Familia. Favor planea participar en este estupendo fin de semana, enfocándote en fortalecer tu matrimonio en el Señor. El costo es de $ 25.00 por persona, (cubre el seminario y el almuerzo del Sábado 18 de Marzo.) Estudios de Pasos a Seguir para Celebrar la Recuperacion

Celebrando la Recuperación es un ministerio donde aplicas los 8 principios bíblicos basados en las beatitudes, permitiendo que el Señor trabaje en nosotros proveyendo Su poder de sanidad. Este studio ayudará a las personas a cambiar espiritualmente trabajando con principios bíblicos. Si estás interesado en trabajar en tus heridas, hábitos y complejos, favor de firmar en la mesa de conección  para unirte a este nuevo grupo de studio. Las clases comenzarán el domingo 5 de Febrero.  Libros 1 al 4. Damas comienzan a las 9:30 en la oficina de Jim y los caballeros a las 11:00 am en el cuarto   205.

¿No Te Pierdas Las Bendiciones De Servir

A veces, en nuestro fervor bíblico para enfatizar que la salvación no es por obras, no somos capaces de apreciar plenamente que hemos sido salvados para hacer buenas obras (Efesios 2:10). De hecho, Dios te ha colocado en tu iglesia con el fin de que tú puedas ser edificado, de modo que puedas trabajar y servirle. Si nos permitimos seguir siendo sedentarios esto significa que estamos descuidando el mismo propósito de Dios para nuestra salvación y de otros. Al servir, sigues y te comportas como Jesús y con eso también lo glorificamos. Mujeres en Quietud

Mujeres en Quietud invita a mujeres de todas las caminatas de vida a aprender a confiar en Dios en medio de sus circunstancias mientras nos ministramos las unas a las otras aprender quién es nuestro Padre y cuánto nos ama así podemos aprender a confiar en Él más profundamente, no importa lo que estemos enfrentando. Nuestras circunstancias cambian, pero el amor de Dios y su fidelidad son constantes. Durante nuestro tiempo juntas:

·       Oraremos las unas por las otras 

·       Aprenderemos a tener una relación más íntima con Dios

·       Ministraremos a mujeres que están sufriendo

·       Animaremos y apoyaremos nos las unas a las otras con la verdad de la Palabra de Dios

·       Aprenderemos a cultivar una relación más profundo con nuestro Señor

·       Aprenderemos a combatir más efectivamente a través de la oración

·       Aprenderemos cómo llegar a ser fortalecidas con Su gracia y quietud

T.O.P.S. le puede ayudar a lograr sus objetivos de pérdida de peso proveyéndole las herramientas, información y apoyo necesitado para alcanzar éxito. T.O.P.S. se centra en hacer cambios de estilo de vida pequeños y constantes, étos proporcionan salud y pérdida de peso duradera. Miembros aprenden a comer mejor, moverse más y mantenerse motivados a través de los programas educativos que preparan nuestros expertos y que nuestros voluntarios presentan en reuniones semanales. Nuestros miembros no buscan perfección sino mejorar con hábitos saludables. Juntos reconocemos y celebramos las victorias de nuestros miembros, grandes y pequeñas. Celebramos la Recuperación

Celebramos la Recuperación es un ministerio de recuperación que aplica los 8 Principios de Recuperación bíblicos (basado en las Bienaventuranzas) con el objetivo de dejar que Dios trabaje a través de nosotros con su poder curativo. Esto permite que la gente sea “cambiada” espiritualmente trabajando a través de principios bíblicos sanos. Celebramos la Recuperación está abierto a cualquier persona que experimenta dolor, quebrantamiento y necesita apoyo y ánimo. Celebramos la Recuperación celebrar puede encontrar libertad de heridas, hábitos y complejos. Esta libertad crea paz, serenidad, alegría y más importantemente, una relación personal más fuerte con Dios y otros. ¿Dónde se puede encontrar curación de heridas, hábitos y complejos? En Celebramos la Recuperación los viernes a las 6:30 pm en la salón 206.
