The Midweek Informer 4.29.15

Women's Ministry Annual Tea
The annual Women’s Ministry Tea will be Saturday, May 9, at 12:00 pm, at the church.  Our guest speaker, Heather Tabers, will speak on the topic “Fragile but Fearless!”  Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. A donation can be given toward the new kitchen. THIS SUNDAY is the last day to buy tickets.  Space is limited.  Any questions, please see Shannon Hartley.  Men needed! Men, if you can help serve, sign up at the Women’s Ministry Tea table.

Men’s Breakfast
The next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday, May 9, 8:00 am at the church.  Come and enjoy a great breakfast and an opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value the role of being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted culture.  Please sign up at the Ministry Center.

Singles Pitch-in Picnic
The Singles Ministry is having a pitch-in picnic on Saturday, May 16, 1:00 - 6:00 pm, at Southport Park, Kissimmee.  Please bring your favorite dish to share.  Contact Jim if you have questions.

Feet on the Ground (F.O.G.)
We still have many soldiers who are serving overseas and away from their loved ones.  The next shipment of boxes  for soldiers will go out the beginning of May. We are in need of funds to mail the boxes.  We mail out 20 boxes and each box costs around $14.00.  Any extra funds that are donated will be used to purchase items that are still needed.  Thank you for supporting this ministry for our soldiers serving so far from their homeland. May God bless and protect them.

Service for Bill Roberts
Bill Roberts went to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 23.  This Saturday, May 2, 11am, at the church, there will be a service to remember him.  The family prefers not to have a meal or flowers but rather have that money donated to Judah Tangshing.  This was a special person/mission in Bill's life. The funds can be sent to Kathy Roberts (115 Orange Ave., St. Cloud, FL, 34769) and she will forward to Judah or donate directly to www.priorityoneworldwide.com, designated for Judah Tangshing.
