“The Story” will help both the new and seasoned
readers of the scriptures understand the Bible’s characters and
events in greater detail.

perspective on wealth, your personal and family legacy, and how He wants you to
further His kingdom work around the world.

Breakfast
The
next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday, August 8, 8:00 am at the church. Come and enjoy a great breakfast and an
opportunity to pray, encourage and fellowship as men who value the role of
being a godly man in an often times spiritually depleted culture. Please

Worship Tech Training Seminars
Anyone
interested in joining one of the various tech teams is invited to attend a
Worship Tech Training Seminar on Saturday, August 8, at 9:15 am. All current tech team members are encouraged
to attend also. These seminars will be
held monthly in the balcony. Please

Singles Ministry
Annual
Tubing Event
The Singles Connect
Ministries Annual Tubing event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22. Singles will meet at the
church at 6:45 am and head out to Rock Springs for a day full of tubing and
outdoor activities. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish or drink. Cost is
$15 per person payable to Vicki Piper no later than Aug. 9. Sign-up sheet is
located at the Connect counter.
Wednesday
Morning Bible Study
Our Wednesday morning Bible elective will begin a
new study entitled “Verses Worthy to be Written in Letters of Gold”. Join us at the church at 10:00 am, every
Wednesday this summer for a time of fellowship in God’s word.
Special
Sendoff Service for Chris & Maggie Wells
A special evening service will take place on
Sunday Aug 9, at 5:30 pm for Chris & Maggie Wells. We will come together as
a church family and bid farewell to Chris and Maggie as they head to Maryland
to begin their new ministry. Let’s celebrate the impact they have made here at
First Christian Church. Please bring gifts in the form of gift cards or cash
donations to help them in their move to Maryland. Refreshments will follow the
service.
Children’s Ministry Volunteer Training
If you have been or want to be involved with teaching and
assisting in the Children's Ministry here at FCC Kissimmee, the fall Children’s
Ministry volunteer training meetings will take place on Sunday, August
16th in the Fellowship Hall (128 A-D).
* The Nursery Team meeting will be @ 3:00
p.m.
* The Elementary
Team meeting will be @ 4:00 p.m.
* The
Preschool Team meeting will be @ 5:00 p.m.

Women’s
Ministry Brings You Fitness Classes
Every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. (starting Aug. 31)
and Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. (starting Sept. 3) our women’s ministry
will bring you… women’s fitness classes!!! Come stretch, strengthen and get
your sweat on while improving your balance, range of motion, and getting your
heart pumping. Enjoy fun, and fellowship all while finding your fit! Cost per 1
hour class will be $5.00. Please bring a mat, water bottle, tennis shoes, and
wear flexible (modest) clothing. Classes will be held in the church. Class will
be instructed by Heather Woods, CPT.
Recruiting
Security Volunteers
If you
have law-enforcement, correctional, or security background, we need you! If you
don’t, we need you too. Volunteers are needed to assist with this new ministry.
Ministry will be led by Tom Martinez. Volunteers will be on a rotating schedule
so no one misses Sunday morning services. Training will be provided for all

Christian Academy Hiring
Kissimmee Christian
Academy will be interviewing for open positions. Possible positions include:
Preschool teachers, teacher assistant, extended day teachers, substitutes

Open House
You’re invited to our M.O.P.S. Open House on

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a great program for moms and their
kids birth to 5 years. M.O.P.S. meets
here at the church on the 2nd Thursday of each month during the school
year. Come and learn more about our
great MOPS program!

Evento Anual del
Ministerio
de Solteros “Conexión”
El evento annual del ministerio de solteros “ Conexion” a Rock Springs se
llevará a cabo el sábado 22 de Agosto. Individuales se reúniran en la
iglesia a las 6:45 am y saldran hacia Rock Springs para un día completo de
actividades al aire libre y compañerismo. A todos se les pide que traergan un
plato de entremesas para compartir o bebidas (agua, limonada etc.) El costo es
$15 por persona que deberia ser pagado a Vicki Piper no más tarde de 9 de
agosto. La hoja de registro está en el
vestíbulo de la iglesia y en el salon 206/208.
Nuevo Estudio Bíblico
de Verano
Un nuevo estudio bíblico
comenzará el 29 de julio titulado "Versos dignos de ser escrito en letras
de oro". Únase a nosotros los miercoles a las 10:00 am durante el verano
para un tiempo de comunión en la palabra de Dios.
Desayuno del Ministerio
de Hombres
El proximo desayuno del
ministerio de Los Hombres de Issachar sera el sábado, 8 de agosto a las 8:00 am en la iglesia. Venga y disfrute de un
desayuno estupendo y la oportunidad de orar y compartir en el compañerismo de
hombres que valoran el rol de ser un hombre piadoso en una cultura

Seminarios de Capacitación de Tecnología
Cualquier persona que esté
interesada en formar parte de uno de los varios equipos de tecnología de
adoración, están invitados a asistir a un seminario de capacitación de
tecnología el sábado, 8 de agosto, a
las 9:15 am. Todos los miembros del equipo de tecnología actual están invitados
a asistir también. Estos seminarios se realizarán mensualmente en el balcón del

de Despedida para Chris Y Maggie Wells
Un culto especial se
llevará a cabo el domingo, 9 de agosto, para Chris & Maggie Wells. Nos
reuniremos como familia cristiana para decirle adiós a Chris y Maggie ya que se
dirigen a Maryland para comenzar un nuevo ministerio. Celebraremos juntos el
impacto que han hecho aquí en First Christian Church. Si desean traerle un
regalo, por favor de hacerlo en forma de una tarjeta de regalo o en la
forma de una donación en efectivo para ayudarlos a ellos en su traslado a
Maryland.
Clase de Entrenamiento Para
Voluntarios del Ministerio de Niños
Si han estado
o quieren estar involucrados con la enseñanza o ayudar en el ministerio de los

Ministerio de Mujeres Patrocinan Clases de Yoga
A partir de agosto 31, el ministerio de
mujeres llevará a cabo clases de yoga en la iglesia todos los lunes a las 7:00
pm y los jueves a las 10:00 am. Venga a estirarse, fortalecerse,
mejoren su balance, rango de movimiento. Juntas disfruten de diverson y compañerismo
mientras mejoran su estado fisico! La clases durarána hora y el costo por clase
será $5.00. Por favor traiga una estera, botella de agua, zapatos tenis y ropa
flexible (y modesta). La clase será instruida por Heather Woods, CPT (Entrenadora Personal
Certificada).
Reclutamiento de Voluntarios de Seguridad
Si usted ha tenido experiencia como policía o en
el departamento correccional, o cual quier oficio de seguridad, le necesitamos!
Si no tienen esta tipo de experiencia tambien los necesitamos. Necesitamos
voluntarios para ayudar con este nuevo ministerio que será dirigido por Tom
Martinez. Los voluntarios tendrán un horario rotativo por lo tanto nadie
perdera el culto los domingo por la mañana. Una sesión de entrenamiento se
llevará a cabo para todo los voluntarios. Para obtener más información póngase

La Academia Cristiana de

agosto, 10:00 am - 11:30 am. MOPS es un
gran programa para madres y sus hijos entre las edades de recien nacidos hasta
los 5 años. MOPS se reúne en la iglesia el segundo jueves de cada mes durante el año escolar.
